Keyi Panyor was showcased as India’s first “Bio-Happy District” during the inauguration of the Arunachal Pradesh Jaiv Vividhata and Mvm Liid Soonam/Beej Utsav 2026 at Yazali.
The two-day festival focused on biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and the concept of biohappiness, which emphasises human well-being through harmony with nature, sustainable livelihoods and protection of ecological resources. The event also served as a platform for stakeholder consultations on environmental sustainability and indigenous knowledge systems.
