Meghalaya has launched the Meghalaya School Performance Grading Index (MSPGI) 2025–26, the state’s first school-level evaluation system, to assess 11,443 recognised schools across its 12 districts. The framework is based on authenticated UDISE+ 2025–26 data.
The index evaluates schools on 43 indicators across five domains—accessibility, digital education, infrastructure, NEP-based activities, and quality standards—with a maximum score of 1,000 points, aiming to improve accountability and educational outcomes.
