Assam will host the inaugural Assam Premier League (APL) from 1–23 August, featuring eight franchises competing in a 43-match tournament. The competition will consist of 40 league matches, two semi-finals, and the final on 23 August.
The participating teams are Charaideo Sunrisers, Barpeta Braves, Tezpur Titans, Dibrugarh Warriors, Barak Legends, Nagaon Rangers, Guwahati Royals, and Jorhat Stallions. The league aims to strengthen Assam’s cricket ecosystem by providing a competitive platform for emerging talent.
