The Assam Cabinet has approved the draft lease deed between the Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (AIDC) and Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) for developing a Taj Gateway hotel on the premises of the erstwhile HPCL facility at Jagiroad.
The project aims to introduce modern hospitality infrastructure in the emerging industrial hub of Jagiroad, supporting business travel, investment activity and tourism while adding a new service-sector dimension to the area’s economic development.
