Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan unveiled Bhupen Hazarika – Hundred Years of a Wandering Song, a commemorative volume celebrating the enduring legacy of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. Prof. Nani Gopal Mahanta, Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University, and Prof. Ankuran Dutta, Head of its Department of Communication and Journalism, were associated with the publication.
The volume brings together scholarly perspectives from 31 Indian and international scholars, exploring Hazarika’s multifaceted contributions to music, cinema, folklore, humanism and cultural expression.
