Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will inaugurate a VFS Global visa application centre in Guwahati. The centre will provide visa application services for multiple countries at a single location, making the process more convenient for residents of Assam.
The facility will offer Schengen visa services for seven countries. A valid Schengen visa generally allows travel across 29 Schengen countries, subject to applicable entry conditions. The initiative is expected to facilitate international travel and improve access to overseas visa services.
