India’s leading Wushu athlete Naorem Roshibina Devi won the silver medal in the women’s Sanda 60 kg category at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, on September 24, 2026. She was defeated by China’s Xiaoyu Zhang in the final.
The achievement made Roshibina the first Indian Wushu athlete to win medals at three consecutive Asian Games. She had previously secured bronze at Jakarta 2018 and silver at Hangzhou 2023, establishing a notable record in Indian Wushu.
