Namsai district of Arunachal Pradesh has earned national recognition by securing the second position in the NITI for States Use Case Challenge Awards under the Agriculture and Allied Services category. The district was honoured for its innovative project, ‘Driving Adoption of Soil Health Card,’ which has significantly improved soil management and data-driven farming practices.
The award was presented under the NITI for States (NFS) platform, jointly organised by LBSNAA and NITI Aayog as part of the State Support Mission. The challenge encouraged officials from Aspirational districts to use data analytics to tackle local issues and devise scalable governance models.
