Sahasra Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd. established Rajasthan’s first semiconductor plant at Bhiwadi near the Delhi-NCR region. The facility is India’s first SME-led ATMP/OSAT unit dealing with semiconductor assembly, testing, marking and packaging.
The project forms part of national initiatives such as the India Semiconductor Mission, Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat aimed at strengthening domestic semiconductor manufacturing and reducing import dependence. The plant is located within the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster at Salarpur, Khushkhera.
