The Land Port Management System (LPMS) is a digital platform launched to integrate and streamline operations across India’s land ports through a unified system.
The platform facilitates seamless coordination among government agencies, private operators and other stakeholders, helping reduce delays and improve operational efficiency. It provides secure end-to-end digital workflows for cargo and passenger processing, including slot booking, payments, tracking and single-window clearances.
The initiative is aimed at modernising border trade infrastructure, enhancing ease of doing business and improving cross-border connectivity. New stakeholder accommodation facilities have also been inaugurated at the Dawki Land Port in Meghalaya and the Srimantapur Land Port in Tripura.
