Meghalaya has launched a Digital Investigation Monitoring Module and introduced new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen criminal investigations and improve case management under India’s revamped criminal justice framework.
The initiative aims to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of police investigations through greater use of digital technology and standardized procedures.
