The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched a nationwide initiative to provide free online coaching for students from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and other disadvantaged sections.
The programme supports preparation for major competitive exams, including the Civil Services Examination, Staff Selection Commission exams, and banking tests, to improve access to quality education and jobs.
Under an MoU with a coaching institute, 5,000 students will receive free coaching annually through live and recorded classes, test series, study materials, mentorship, doubt-clearing, and counselling.
Selection will be merit-based via a dedicated online portal to ensure transparency and efficiency.
