On Anna Mani’s 104th birth anniversary, Google paid tribute to the renowned physicist and meteorologist via a creative doodle on August 23.
Known as the ‘Weather Woman of India’, Anna Mani was born on August 23 in 1918 in Kerala (known as Travancore then). Her life’s work as a physicist and meteorologist made it possible for Indian agencies to accurately predict the weather conditions of the country in the present day.
