Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma participated in the golden jubilee celebrations of Purbajyoti Krishi Pam Nigam, an agriculture farm of Gohpur, on Wednesday. The celebrations are being organized with a three-day long programme at Bishnu Bora Kshetra of Purbajyoti Sports Association. He was welcomed by 50 drummers and dancers.
Purbajyoti Krishi Pam Nigam of Gohpur is the only agricultural farm established under the Assam Agricultural Farm Corporation Act in 1974.
