In a bid to promote the Bodo language, the Assam government on Tuesday, announced that Bodo will be introduced as a medium of instruction in Class XI and XII. The said decision was taken during a cabinet meeting chaired by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Besides this, the appointment of professors, assistants and associate professors for the Bodo language will be brought outside the ambit of reservation
