Assam has renamed the Assam Legislative Assembly’s television channel from ALA TV to Assam Bidhan Sabha TV to strengthen public outreach and awareness of legislative proceedings.
The initiative aims to enhance transparency and citizen engagement by improving public access to Assembly debates and proceedings.
The channel will be developed on the lines of Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha TV.
