Nagaland is advancing its proposed Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Kiwifruit at Pfutsero in Phek district, the first such facility under the state’s Horticulture Department.
The centre will collect real-time weather, soil and water data to support precision farming practices, improve productivity and enhance the quality of kiwifruit cultivation. The initiative is expected to strengthen Nagaland’s position as a leading kiwifruit-producing state and promote technology-driven horticultural development.
