Tripura launched the Forestry Integrated Geospatial Solution (FIGS), a geospatial monitoring platform designed to provide real-time oversight of forestry activities and assets across the state.
The platform will enable digital mapping and monitoring of plantations, nurseries, check dams and other forest-related infrastructure, strengthening the management of natural resources and improving monitoring mechanisms within the Forest Department.
