Famous actor and dancer Vyjayantimala Bali was conferred Padma Vibhushan
For her pioneering work in Bharata Natyam, she received the Sangeet Natak Academy award, the best award for practising artwork varieties.
Her magnum opus was “Devdas” for which she received the primary Filmfare Award.
