The Ministry of Ayush has launched DRAVYA (Digitised Retrieval Application for Versatile Yardstick of Ayush), developed by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), to digitally catalogue 100 key medicinal substances in its first phase.
DRAVYA is an AI-ready, open-access digital repository that compiles authentic information on Ayush medicinal substances from both classical Ayurvedic texts and modern scientific studies.
The portal aims to unify traditional and contemporary knowledge for evidence-based research, foster innovation, and promote collaboration among Ayurveda, botany, chemistry, and pharmacology disciplines.
