The results of the Best Marching Contingents and Best Tableaux of the Republic Day Parade 2026 have been announced, recognising excellence across Services, forces, and states.
The Assam Regiment won the Popular Choice Award among the Services, based on an online poll conducted through the MyGov portal, reflecting strong public appreciation.
Among the Services, the Indian Navy was adjudged the Best Marching Contingent, while the Delhi Police secured the top position in the Central Armed Police Forces and Auxiliary Forces category.
In the States and Union Territories tableau category, Maharashtra ranked first with Ganeshotsav: A Symbol of Aatmanirbharta, followed by Jammu and Kashmir and Kerala.
