oil discovery in Krishna-Godavari Basin

the first oil from a deep-sea project, 30 kilometres off the coast of Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada, was extracted on January 7.

This will contribute 7% to both crude oil and gas production. Phase 3 is underway, aiming for peak production by June 2024.
