Meghalaya secured one gold and two silver honours at the SKOCH Awards, reflecting its progress in innovation-driven and inclusive development initiatives. Tripura also received national recognition at the SKOCH Summit 2025 for its Urban Development project, highlighting effective urban governance reforms.
These achievements place the Northeast firmly on the national map of best practices in governance and development. Assam, too, has figured prominently in earlier editions, notably with the SEWA SETU initiative (2025), which was awarded for strengthening e-governance by improving access, efficiency, and transparency in public service delivery. Collectively, these recognitions underline how technology-enabled governance and citizen-centric reforms are reshaping administration in the region.
