The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has introduced an AI-based project on Animation and Games in the vocational education textbook for Class 6, marking an early integration of artificial intelligence into school education.
The project uses AI tools to familiarise students with real-world applications of artificial intelligence through hands-on, activity-based learning. It aims to build foundational digital literacy, creativity, and problem-solving skills at an early age, aligning with the National Education Policy’s emphasis on experiential and technology-driven learning.
By introducing AI concepts at the middle-school level, the initiative prepares students for future digital and creative industries.
