Morigaon district has attained ‘Saksham’ status under Mission Mobilization for AIDS Suraksha 2026, reflecting progress in expanding HIV treatment coverage and advancing national HIV/AIDS targets.
The district’s eART Care initiative has helped identify newly diagnosed, previously unlinked and lost-to-follow-up people living with HIV (PLHIV) and connect them with antiretroviral therapy (ART). Link ART Centre facilities and coordinated field-level mobilisation have supported this achievement.
