The central government is soon going to introduce the facility of annual or lifetime toll passes across tollgates in India
According to the proposal of the central government, passengers will get the facility of travelling through toll passes for just Rs 3,000.
Similarly, a lifetime toll pass for 15 years will be available for Rs 30,000. After the implementation of this scheme, lakhs of passengers travelling on national highways will get direct benefit. And the crowd at toll plazas will also be reduced.
Note: Currently, monthly passes are available at the toll plazas. While this monthly pass is available for Rs 340 per month, the annual fee is Rs 4,080. However, now hundreds passengers will benefit if it is reduced to Rs 3000 is made for unlimited travel on the entire national highway network.
