The New Sevilla Forum on Debt was launched at the 16th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD16) in Geneva.

It is a Spanish-led multilateral platform supported by UNCTAD and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) to promote fair, transparent, and sustainable solutions to the global sovereign debt crisis.

Announced as part of the Sevilla Platform for Action, the forum aims to foster continuous global dialogue on debt reform, encourage responsible borrowing and lending, and advance structural reforms in the international debt architecture.
