The Kang Festival, also known as Rath Yatra, has commenced in Manipur with traditional celebrations. The main rituals include the pulling of the Kang (traditional chariot) and offering of flowers and fruits to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra.
The festival reflects Manipur’s unique Vaishnavite traditions and is one of the state’s most important religious and cultural celebrations, promoting devotion and community participation.
