Arunachal Pradesh will host India’s first Sunrise Festival in Dong village, Anjaw district, a location known for witnessing the earliest sunrise in the country. The five-day event, scheduled from 29 December 2025 to 2 January 2026, is designed to attract tourists, adventure seekers, and nature enthusiasts.
The festival will showcase the region’s ethnic culture, traditional performances, local cuisine, and eco-tourism experiences. Adventure sports and cultural exhibitions will highlight the unique lifestyle of the indigenous communities of Anjaw.
