Arthur Conan Doyle, the celebrated British author and creator of Sherlock Holmes, becomes the central character in a new India–UK co-production titled Elementary My Dear Holmes.

Announced at a special event at the historic Guildhall in London, the film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Srijit Mukherji and produced by Shahnaab Alam.

Mukherji, known for acclaimed Bengali films such as Autograph, Jaatishwar, and Gumnaami, states that the project will explore the life and legacy of Conan Doyle, highlighting the fascinating intersections between his real experiences and the fictional world he brought to life.
