Celebrating the World Book Day

On the occasion of World Book Day, our school, in association with the State Government, Happy Sunshine Public School, and Government Model School, organised a Book Fair from 22nd April to 25th April.
The book fair, which was set up in the new library of our school, offered books from all genres for all age groups. The books ranged from comics to fantasy novels, from autobiographies to classics, from primers to colouring books. The buyers received a 10 percent discount on each book, while books for the 3+ age group received 20 percent off. The fair offered a free bookmark in each purchase, and the customer could buy more at the cost of 50 rupees each. These bookmarks were handmade by students and some were made by the 3D printer offered by the Happy Sunshine Public School. The Government Model School contributed with its handmade carry bags, which sparked the creativity of its students.
On 23rd April, we were honoured by the presence of the Chief Minister of the state and the Head of the Minister of School Department. It was a fun and enriching experience for all the students.
