Candidates are called for the Interview/Personality Test in a 1:3 ratio against the number of advertised vacancies.

The aim is to assess a candidate’s personal suitability for public service.

It evaluates mental caliber, including intellectual ability, social traits, leadership, and moral integrity.

No qualifying marks for the interview; scores are added to the written exam marks.

Final ranking is based on total marks (Main + Interview).

Candidates are allotted services based on merit and preference, following reservation policies.

The Commission only recommends candidates for the posts they have opted for.
