On-Screen Marking (OSM) is a digital system for evaluating handwritten examination answer scripts. Under this process, physical answer booklets are collected, scanned, anonymised and uploaded to a secure digital platform.

Evaluators assess the scanned answer scripts on computer screens instead of manually checking physical copies. The system enhances transparency, accuracy and efficiency in the evaluation process while reducing the time and logistical challenges associated with transporting and handling answer scripts.
