The NCERT is in the process of developing a dedicated classroom module on Operation Sindoor, aimed at helping students better understand India’s defence preparedness and diplomatic response mechanisms.
The module will be divided into two parts: one tailored for students of classes 3 to 8, and the other for classes 9 to 12. This educational initiative seeks to instill a sense of national awareness, strategic thinking, and understanding of international relations from a young age.
By integrating real-time national operations into the school curriculum, the module is expected to bridge textbook learning with contemporary developments in India’s security landscape — encouraging analytical engagement with current affairs and instilling civic pride among students.
