The International Booker Prize 2025 shortlist of six books will be announced on April 8. The winner will be announced at a ceremony at London’s Tate Modern on May 20.
Note: This is the first time a kannada author is nominated for the prize in its present avatar the International Booker Prize. Kannada legend, the late U.R. Ananthamurthy, was longlisted in 2013 for the Man Booker International, the prize’s earlier version.
