The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has rolled out Angikaar 2025, a nationwide outreach campaign designed to strengthen implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0). As a last-mile initiative, it seeks to bridge delivery gaps by creating mass awareness about the scheme, facilitating verification of beneficiary applications, and accelerating completion of sanctioned houses, thereby ensuring that the benefits of affordable housing reach the intended urban poor.
