Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day is observed every year on 24 November. He is the ninth guru in the lineage of Sikh saints.
Known as Hind ki Chadar, or the ‘Shield of India,’ Guru Tegh Bahadur gave up his life defending the rights of others, even those who were not of his religion.
