A Hindi short film ‘Dhyaan’, featuring an Assamese cast and crew, will be screened at the India Inclusion Summit (IIS) in Bangalore on November 16.
Set against the backdrop of Assam’s stunning landscapes, the film sheds light on the often-overlooked issue of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) — a common learning challenge found in children. The film aims to create awareness among parents, teachers as well as students about ADHD.
The Indian Inclusion Summit is India’s most prestigious and largest event organized for people with life challenges and special needs to promote inclusivity in society.
Directed by Mirza Arif Hazarika and written and produced by Jyotsna Neog, “Dhyaan” has already gained recognition, securing the 2nd Runner-Up title in the ‘Let’s Include’ category at the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival (BISFF) 2024.
‘Let’s Include’ is a newly launched category, which stands for inclusivity and promotes films based on people with physical and mental challenges or disorders.
