The traditional handloom of the Deori community is known as Puma-gema, reflecting the rich weaving heritage of the community. Deori textiles are renowned for their distinctive designs, craftsmanship, and cultural significance.
Important traditional Deori attire includes Iku (dhoti worn by men), Igu (mekhela worn around the waist by women), and Jakachibba (a traditional waist garment worn by women).
