NTPC Bongaigaon, in collaboration with the Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), has officially launched a comprehensive cancer care program in Kokrajhar district as a part of its CSR, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to communities across the region
The program aims to reach over 42,000 people across various villages, would significantly contribute to the early detection and treatment of cancer, ultimately creating a healthier future for all.
The project aligns with Schedule VII, Sub-section (i) of the Companies Act 2013, and the CPSE common theme for 2024-25, “Health & Nutrition,” as prescribed by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE). It also contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
