The Baramulla Police have launched Jammu and Kashmir’s first digital safety platform, the “Baramulla Safety App,” designed to enhance public security through real-time emergency response.
The app enables residents to send SOS alerts that reach the police within five seconds, allowing instant tracking and coordinated action by duty officers.
All police stations are integrated under a central monitoring system, supervised by SHOs, DOs, and the Police Control Room. The app currently includes 15 enrolment categories, focusing on migrants, non-local employees, and terror victim families.
