The Meghalaya government has inaugurated the True North Center at Lapalang, marking one of the largest initiatives under the CM ELEVATE program. The project has been sanctioned with an investment of ₹1 crore.
The center aims to empower youth through sports, entrepreneurship, and skill development. It is expected to support India’s Olympic ambitions by creating infrastructure and opportunities for talent development, while also inspiring more entrepreneurs to enter the growing sports and wellness sector.
