- NITI Aayog has recognised Tripura for successfully establishing the Tripura Institution for Transformation (TIFT) under the State Support Mission (SSM) within the stipulated timeframe.
- As a reward for its achievement, the state received an incentive grant of ₹1 crore to undertake approved developmental projects.
- Owing to its growing national profile, Tripura was selected to host the NITI-Regional Dialogue under the State Support Mission in Agartala on 3 February 2026.
- The dialogue brought together eastern and northeastern states and Union Territories to exchange best practices and strengthen collaborative governance and policy implementation.
