The Assam Government has constituted a special committee to advise on the development and transformation of Zubeen Kshetra, a proposed cultural centre dedicated to preserving and celebrating the legacy of Zubeen Garg.
Earlier, the Revenue and Disaster Management Department had transferred 10 bighas of land to the Directorate of Cultural Affairs for establishing the project. The initiative aims to promote Assam’s cultural heritage and create a permanent institution honouring one of the state’s most celebrated artistes.
