Raimona National Park in Assam has recorded a significant rise in tourism, research, and conservation activities, with vehicle entries increasing from 490 in 2023–24 to 1,818 in 2025–26, nearly a fourfold increase. The trend reflects the park’s growing prominence as an emerging eco-tourism and biodiversity destination in Northeast India.

The increased footfall highlights the success of conservation efforts and improved tourism infrastructure while promoting sustainable livelihoods for local communities. It also underscores Raimona’s expanding role in biodiversity conservation and nature-based tourism in the region.
