Meghalaya Chief Minister has inaugurated the state’s first eco-sustainable habitat, ‘Pine Home’, at Mawlangwir village in South West Khasi Hills. The project is designed as a space for art, creativity and community activities.
The initiative is also linked with the Meghalaya Homestay Mission, which seeks to help local families operate eco-friendly accommodation while generating livelihood opportunities and promoting sustainable community-based tourism.
