In Assam, a Centre of Excellence for Vegetables has been inaugurated at Khetri, introducing technologies like advanced greenhouses, soilless cultivation and automated irrigation. The centre has already produced 7 lakh seedlings and provides training to farmers and agri-entrepreneurs, boosting modern farming, employment and export potential.
