Manipur has inaugurated its first exclusive Special Court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), marking a significant step in strengthening the state’s justice delivery system.
The establishment of the dedicated court is expected to enhance the judicial framework for handling NIA-related cases, ensure faster trials and improve access to justice. Special NIA Courts are designated to try offences investigated by the National Investigation Agency, India’s premier counter-terrorism investigation agency established under the NIA Act, 2008.
