Assam has taken a step in its mission to eradicate child marriage, with Cachar district leading the charge as four villages have been declared free of child marriage. These villages are Rukni Part IV, Bhairabpur Part I, Rosekandy Grant I, and Rosekandy Grant II. This breakthrough is under the initiative of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
