A key feature is the introduction of self-enumeration, allowing citizens to submit their information online, which aims to improve accuracy and efficiency in data collection. To promote public awareness, mascots named Pragati and Vikas have been introduced, symbolising the equal participation of women and men in India’s development journey towards the vision of a developed nation by 2047.
